The Bees

So while the scientists, bee experts and governments worldwide are battling away to get to the bottom of this great dilemma, what can we do to help the bees? On a practical level we can

  1. Stop using all pesticides and chemicals in out gardens, learn to garden organically.
  2. Only buy organic fruit and veg, thereby encouraging farmers to grow more organic crops.
  3. Plant bee friendly gardens, learn about the different flowers, trees, and shrubs that bees find irresistible.
  4. Buy local honey and bee products to support your local beekeepers. Make sure the honey has been grown organically.
  5. Find out about local beekeeping courses and consider keeping bees your self.
  6. If having your own hive is a little too adventurous for you, try building a wood-nest for the bees. Simply take a block of wood (not pressure treated) and drill holes about 5in deep and 3/32 in to 5/16th in diameter. Now place it in the garden and wait for the bees.

In Ancient times bees were seen as a CELESTIAL CREATURE that filled the gap between mankind and the Divine. I believe that bees hold for the planet the power of alchemy and change and that we can assist them now on a spiritual level by including them in our prayers and meditations. The following is a Green Ray meditation that I use in my classes. It involves connecting with the Green Ray and feeding its energies into the template energy of the bee.
